A Great Bike-Ride Among Ents

My October is clear crispy air, sunshine and the trees fireworks. It’s the trees gushing thanks for this year. October is fabulous.
“October had tremendous possibility. The summer’s oppressive heat was a distant memory, and the golden leaves promised a world full of beautiful adventures. They made me believe in miracles.”
~ Sarah Guillory, Reclaimed
I did a short bike ride yesterday.
A little quiet traffic of bicycles, trains and canoes. A wonderful experience.
Rådvad Dam was a welcoming sight after a dusty bike ride. I was greeted with a light breeze and the swallows’ artificial flight. Rådvad Dam is a lovely part of the Mill River in Kongens Lyngby.
Today I went for a bike ride. This view is in a short distance from my home.
A popular motif in my local area 🙂
The sun is doing its best and a fresh wind creates ripples on the smooth surface of the river.
It’s spring in spite of everything! Stay Safe, Stay Well Everyone!!!
Today I had a great bike ride between showers. I felt really lucky when the sun broke through the clouds.
I’ve been bike riding on Route N9 in the summer heat.
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.
John Lubbock
The route lies between Copenhagen and Elsinore. In fact the route actually ends in Gedser. Read more about N9
Always look out for traffic no matter if you cross the coastal road or choose to stay on route N9

Remember a worthy packed lunch 👩🍳🥐🥑🥕🥙🥝
And leave nothing behind you than exquisite ruts from your bike 😎
A bike ride in the countryside in June is an encouraging happening. I felt as a child in Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem, The Swing:
How do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
Ever a child can do!
Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
River and trees and cattle and all
Over the countryside.
Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown–
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!
Did I forget to warn you about
The physical well-being
The feeling of happiness
The joy
And of course
The urge for repetition
Even when it rains like today.
When the buzzard flies low over my head.
When a city person sits on the river bank in the pouring rain with his briefcase under the umbrella.
When a flock of starlings are exercising over the meadow.
When a pair of swans are wearing goggles. They certainly have their heads under water.
When the blackbird sits in the hedge humming spring songs in the middle of January.
Didn’t I warn you about being addicted to nature?
