A Holy Hole Tree

Perhaps you have heard of it before: A sacred hole tree.
If you have diseases or ailments, you must crawl through the hole in the tree.
There is a tradition of being naked because it is a kind of rebirth.
When you climb through the hole, you have to sacrifice a piece of clothing to the tree as thanks.

Hole trees are primarily healing trees, but often they are also taboo trees that one must not harm.
I found this tree on the meadow and was content to take this picture as the only action 😊

Better To Avoid The Whomping Willow?

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better

What a beautiful, sunny morning. It makes you happy to be alive, doesn’t it? We can’t let the sun
outshine us! We have to beam, too!

On A Summer Day

That beautiful season the Summer!
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light;
and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.

The day was incredible hot and people took the opportunity to take a swim in historic surroundings overlooking Kronborg Castle. A spectacular choice if you ask me 😎

Walking to The Beach

Trolls or Will-O’-The-Wisps

It was misty, and the path was hard to see.
Suddenly I saw a light ahead.
A twinkling light which disappeared into the treacherous bog.
This event lies years behind as for the drooling trolls in the woods.
Today it’s a sunny day and I’m still alive despite many insidious paths since then.
I was about to cross the bog today when someone shouted at me:
Beware of the carnivorous plants
Sometimes it’s hard to choose between Trolls, Gollum and Monster Plants so I let it go.
Tonight I will enjoy a good meal celebrating Midsummer’s Eve.
Happy Evening and beware of the dark woods and mysterious creatures 🥴

Midsummer

And ‘t is my faith, that every flower
Enjoys the air it breathes.

The gate to Øresund

Yesterday we did a wonderful walk along the coastline and through the old town of Dragør. It is a very charming town with an interesting history dating back to the 1100s. The town’s location still has an impact on the ship traffic.

Wild weather in Denmark
