About 15,000 years ago, a mighty glacier from Central Sweden created the impressive landscape of hills and lakes that today contains Rude Skov. A wonderful forest with an exceptionally varied nature.

Ancient sunken roads lies in the forest as a relic after the vikings. Old roads that once connected the royal seat in Lejre with Elsinore.
There are many places to explore in the woods and valleys.
