The read sign says: It isn’t advisable to walk on the ice.
This spring has been remarkable. Within three days all kind of weather has shown itself but the ice on the pond didn’t materialize 🙂
Environment
Sometimes you have to fight against trolls…
We met small people armed with sticks and they looked very apprehensive.
They were about to explore a passage grave from the Neolithic.
The passage grave is so spacious that there certainly is room for a troll or two 🙂
Spring and winter at the same time
Someday…
Someday …
Have you ever used that phrase?
It’s a thought that comes easy.
But time passes quickly and suddenly it’s to late.
Love while you’ve got
love to give
Live while you’ve got
life to live
Piet Hein
The butterfly counts not months but moments,
and has time enough.
Time is a wealth of change,
but the clock in its parody makes it mere change and no wealth.
Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time
like dew on the tip of a leaf.
Rabindranath Tagore
March said to April…
My pictures are from my walk the last three days 🙂
March said to April,
I see three hogs upon a hill;
And if you’ll lend me three days
I’ll find a way to make them go.
The first of them was wind and wet
The second of them was snow and sleet,
The third of them was such a freeze
It froze the birds’ noses to the trees.
When the three days were past and gone
The three silly hogs cam limping home.

The Frozen Beach
I was curious enough to take a very short walk along the beach. The wind was ice-cold.
The eastern wind and Jack Frost had rebuild the beach.

Silk-Stocking Gents
On my way to the grocery I met these brave silk-stocking gents posing in the frost and snow.

A walk in the month of March
Todays walk is the finest expression for the month of March:
Sun at the start, mud on the path, replaced by white creaking snow after a few hundred meters.
Then the sun disappears behind a cloud and soon sleet drifts across the fields.
Happy walk ❤
March is a tomboy with tousled hair, a mischievous smile, mud on her shoes and a laugh in her voice.

What day is it?
“What day is it?”
“It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.
“My favorite day,” said Pooh.
A.A. Milne
My walk yesterday wasn’t much of a hill walk but it was an outstanding walk.
A gale ruled and the temperature was minus 8 degrees.
Therefore I planned my walk with the wind in my back.
Best walk I had for years 🙂
