What day is it?

“What day is it?”
“It’s today,” squeaked Piglet.
“My favorite day,” said Pooh.

A.A. Milne

My walk yesterday wasn’t much of a hill walk but it was an outstanding walk.
A gale ruled and the temperature was minus 8 degrees.
Therefore I planned my walk with the wind in my back.
Best walk I had for years 🙂

    • Thanks a lot, Resa ❤ The weather is out of control it seems. Temperature goes from minus 8 plus strong winds to 9 C this weekend. Never put aside your winter clothes to soon 🙂 🙂
Wish you a splendid evening and hope your internet works at its best 🙂
      All the best,
      Hanna xx

    • Thanks a lot! It’s wonderful to take a walk when the light is that bright 🙂
      All the best,

  1. What a demanding beauty she’s been this year, Lady Winter! I shan’t be too sorry when she’s gone, Hanna. 🙂 🙂

    • Hi Indah. Yes, I guess you are right about me being dedicated 🙂 That kind of light makes me “high” 🙂
      Thanks a lot!!

    • May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face… *
      Thanks Leya ❤ 🙂

      • I have found it online as a quote by Johnny Depp, but it seems strongly inspired by one of the many wonderful Irish blessings 🙂

  2. What beautiful, vivid colors! I can see why it might be the best walk you’ve had in years. Thank you for inviting us to stroll along!

    • Thanks a lot, Heide. I love planning all kind of walks but this time I had a challenge because of the very high chill factor.
      All the best,

      • I’m so glad you took the “chill factor” challenge, Hanna — you were handsomely rewarded for your efforts with some gorgeous photos!

      • Thank you 🙂 It’s the first time I’ve planned a walk aiming to walk with the wind in my back but not the last time 🙂

  3. I had never thought about planning my walk according to the wind’s direction… that’s brilliant! 😀
