A Historic Cultural Venue

Today Sophienholm is considered one of the leading representatives of Danish salon life in the 19th century.

  1. Thank you for sharing this Hanna. Looking at your beautiful photos in Denmark remind me of my home country here in Canada. We do have similiar autumn foliage. Such spectacular colours, they always take my breath away.

  2. Just checked out some more of your other Autumn photos, Hanna. They are lovely. Autumn is my favourite season of the year, although we haven’t seen much of it this year here in North Wales.

    • Thank you, Elisabeth. It’s been a different autumn this year in Denmark too. Lots and lots of rain and very little coldness. I think it will continue that way into December too.
      Good to hear from you!!

    • Hi Elisabeth. It’s a very idyllic place, in the middle of a large recreational area surrounded by woods and lakes. There are always new nature experiences, as well as art and culture at Sophienholm. A lovely place indeed 🙂
