Some days ago I was on a nice long bike ride in Dyrehaven.
The paths wind through forests, along small lakes and through open landscapes.
I’m wearing layers upon layers until the jacket can’t hold anymore 🙂
The reason is the Danish winter with a very persistent cold wind.
But I quickly forget the cold when I face the ‘inhabitants’

NOTE
I always keep a good distance to the deer so they won’t be stressed ❤️🤗
Amazing – thanks for sharing your journey with me!
My pleasure ❤ Thank you!!
Initially, I thought you’d emigrated; at a glance you were on safari in the far north! Great photos, Hanna. You had me fooled 🤣🤗🙋♂️
Thanks a lot, Ashley!! 😊 I’m happy to surprise you.
It would be terrific to post pictures of reindeer herds from snowy plains ❤ 🤗
A while back, I watched a TV programme which followed a couple of Sami ladies taking supplies north to their homeland. There was no music, an occasional word was spoken (muffled)…driving through falling snow then clear skies…just the Sami and their reindeer and the peace of the landscape. It lasted several hours and I was mesmerised; it was like a meditation. 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the story Ashley!! Love that type of broadcast 😎😊
Some of those antlers are amazing!
Yes they are! It’s fascinating that they shed their antlers every year and a new one grows out. Fantastic!! 😊
What beautiful animals – and such a gift to have observed them from such closeness!
I love to be there, Ab. All stress hormones disappear like dew before the sun 😊
I use a camera with zoom so as not to disturb the deer. I always stay on the paths. But one time it became challenging when a stag crossed the path right where I was standing. It was almost stepping on my toes and it was HUGE 🙂
That must’ve been quite the experience!
One that never fades 🥰
You could wear a tan-colored coat and a hat with antlers and just blend in?
Are you trying to get me arrested or shot, Robert? 😄😄
I’m sure I’ll be pulled over by the police if I’m wearing antlers (riding a bike) Not to mention the attire out in the forest. The shooter in the forest might consider me as a minor stag where the feed has had no effect.
Oh no! I hadn’t thought there might be hunters, better stick to bright colors and no antlers.
Haha! I’ll do that, Robert 🙂
Beautiful! I’ve been to Dyrehaven but I have never seen the deer so close!
Thanks a lot, Vanessa. I never came close. I use a camera with zoom so as not to disturb the deer.

Oh wow!
Beautiful series.
Thanks Rabirius. It was a thrill to be there!!
