Into the Coppery Halls

“…into the coppery halls
of beech and intricate oak
to be close to the trees
as they whisper together
let fall their leaves…”

  1. Photos look great! Very easy to get out for a walk when it looks like it does at the minute 😌

    • Haha! Sometimes the outdoors tempts more than other times.
      Autumn foliage is a lovely color palette that is easy to like 😊
      Thanks, Karl!!

    • Thanks, Ab. I can actually take the local train out into the forest. It is a great journey. Get off at a station deep in the forest and take a nice walk back.
      Several years ago we stood in the dark waving a flashlight as a signal to the train driver to stop.
      The darkness of the forest and the soft rumble of the approaching train. The sudden light from the train lights and train wagons. And then the silence was suddenly broken by the ear-shattering squeal of the brakes. What a great experience 🙌😊
