The Immediate and the Snow

Look Mommy, it’s been snowing!
I sat across from a mother with her little son as the train drove through a beech forest filled with anemones.
The flowers stood so close that they looked like snowdrifts in some places.
That goes years back, but the memory emerges when the anemones blossom so wonderfully.

Stay strong all of you ❤

    • Thanks a lot, Ali!! This particular forest had a wonderful selection of the little white wind flower 🙂
      All the best,
      Hanna

    • Thanks for that, Bill. I’ve seen many anemones over time, but this forest was absolutely amazing.
Had I been driving through the forest in a train I would have been convinced that the month of April was more than whimsical 🙂
      All the best,
      Hanna

    • Thank you, Margaret. One of my favourites too. So small, fine and fragile it looks, and yet it is a tough little plant. A tireless harbinger of spring ❤
      Stay safe!
      Hanna
