A lovely walk, Hanna – I just love heather and the fragrant blooms…and the colours!
I would love to see the heather bloom in the English mountains.
So would I. Yorkshire…
Absolutely 🙂
…though it is hard to get the experienced fragile light in the colour to emerge in my pictures.
I want the brown colour out 🙂
Aha…
🙂

It’s wonderful to see so much heather in bloom! There is a native species of it here, but I see it only sparsely and at the mountain peaks around 7,000 feet.
Heather in bloom is a wonderful sight, Montucky.
The plant requires special conditions to grow as you probably know.
Small birch trees suffocate the heather and therefore the small trees were removed last year.
We have a large area located close to the northern coast of Zealand.
I will travel up there while it still blooms.
The sight of the mountains peaks must be amazing!!
Enjoy these remnants of Summer, Hanna 🙂 🙂
This is a wonderful time of year for wandering, Jo 🙂 🙂
