A Medieval ruin, A Tunnel System and a Tinker

The party was at 17 o’clock. We can take a walk in the area before our arrival.
My suggestion was based on the fact that “The adventure is waiting for anyone who understands to grab it.” ¹
Knud Rasmussens adventures were great, but small adventures also have their time on Earth especially when time is short 🙂
It was not a sleigh ride on Greenland, an experience Knud Rasmussen would have preferred, but a hike at an old castle tower and through a tunnel system formed by the last ice age.

    1. Dear Mathilda. Thank you for your kind words. The horse was a Tinker, an Irish Cup one of the most beautiful horses I’ve met ❤ 🙂

    Fantastiske billeder… 🙂

    1. Montucky, it’s a very special place with a unique geology for Denmark. Really an interesting fauna and a historic place too.
The horse was a stunner 🙂

    1. It’s not the first time I wander here, but the soul rejoice every time.
      Thanks a lot, Isabel ❤

  2. Fabulous! Actually, it looks a bit like a fantasy universe to me! The world can be a beautiful place…. and I actually know of Knud Rasmussen. Perhaps you are related somehow? You seem to have exploring in your blood! 😀

    1. I’m not even close to Knud Rasmussen and his magnificent adventures 😀 but I like the idea that you can motivate others to experience and take care of nature.
I love the story of Knud Rasmussen and his friends, especially about the Danish Peter Freuchen an Arctic explorer, author, journalist and anthropologist. Maybe you are familiar with him too?
      Thanks a lot, Resa xx ❤ ❤

  3. You grabbed it! 🙂 🙂 You’re right- it doesn’t need to be a big adventure to be beautiful. Your photos prove it. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Jo. I’m happy with the ability to see great things in the small ones. It makes everyday life richer 🙂

    1. Hi Arek. It’s a pleasure to walk in the valley and discover different motives. It’s a kind of tribute 🙂
