You can always put one foot in front of another. Well most people are that lucky. But which path do you choose? The winding path, the large wide gravel road or a cycle path along the road.
Yesterday I chose a lovely path in the Arboretum in Hørsholm. A winding path along lakes and among rhododendrons. I wanted to experience the beautiful rhododendrons in the Arboretum, and I was grateful to have the chance.

Looks like a wonderful day to wander around in beautiful place. You did chose a great location to appreciate nature 🙂
Thanks Indah. I love exploring places like this one. Lots of diversity and moods ⭐ 🙂
How nice to have paths filled with such lovely blossoms to choose from!
Yes, it is a fabulous path to walk ❤ 🙂
Thank you!
You chose well the way, better than the bike path! that beautiful journey, in the midst of this exuberant nature! Thanks for the ride, Hanna! 🙂
You are most welcome, Jacint. It’s a lovely place especially if you know your way around 🙂
The winding path is (almost…)always the best! Lovely pictures from a great walk.
I think you would enjoy the walk, Leya.
I thought of your magnolia in Sweden and the damage the frost did to it.
There were early flowers in the park which were slightly damaged by the cold spring but otherwise a wonderful walk among unique flowers and trees 🙂
Lovely shots from there…and maybe inside a rather dense “forest” they managed better than mine.
I’ve not gone into details with names of flowers. But I know that there are 150 different rhododendrons from around the world, some of which are very hardy in terms of frost.
We can only hope that the seasons adjust a little, which is probably unlikely.
Thank you, Leya!!
You have really outdone yourself with this post, Hanna — beautiful images! Thank you for taking us along.
I will walk along those wonderful paths once more and send your greeting to the green frog, the geese, the flowers and the tall ancient trees from far away countries 🙂 🙂
Thanks a lot, Heide ❤
What a beautiful sentiment, Hanna! It makes me deliriously happy to think my greetings and good wishes might reach the creatures of the earth half a world away …
I thank you on behalf of those mentioned, Heide 🙂 🙂
Preciosas fotos de una preciosa primavera floral. Me encantan las magnolias, tanto la japonesa como la estrellada 😉 Un fuerte abrazo, amiga ❤
Ahora sé la clase dos de estrellada Magnoliae ❤ 🙂
Beautiful pictures Hanna! 🙂 The photo with the toad’s is so good! 🙂 I’ve been lazy lately and have taken the car everywhere, but will start cycling again. 🙂
The toad was great fun, John. It made a lot of noise and could be heard miles away 🙂
PS We need to be lazy sometimes 🙂
lovely pictures!
Thanks a lot, Julz!!
Fina bilder!

Hanna
What a wonderful place for a walk! The flowers are gorgeous and the path is inviting!
Hi Montucky. It is a very exiting place for a walk and interesting too. It is a whole adventure world to enter.
The arboretum’s own collection of rhododendrons consists of 150 species. The collection is run by the Department of Geosciences and Nature Management at the University of Copenhagen.
Thanks!!
What an impressive way to operate an arboretum!
Yes, it’s impressive indeed. There are several things under development in the arboretum. In addition to the impressive surroundings, there is a therapy garden based on ‘Evidence-based Health Design’, about the nature’s supportive features.
Some of my pictures illustrate the atmosphere in the garden.
Superschön 😊😊😍😍❤
Thank you so much, Mathilda!!! 🙂 🙂
😊😊😎😎❤❤
Love, love this images! So beautiful; Hanna.

Hi Isabel. Thanks a lot!! A lovely walk it was 🙂
A big hug to you too,
