The Small Uncaring Ways

Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute,
day by dragging day, in all the thousand small uncaring ways.
Stephen Vincent Benet

No wasted minutes on this icy cold spring day.
The lapwing cries and makes spectacular patterns in the air.
The horses play tag and roll in the dust.
It’s an outstanding day 🙂

    • Thanks a lot, Mitza. The forest is the oldest in Denmark. Some parts of the forests are rather deserted. So when you are alone the impressions from birds and horses grows deeper than usually ❤ I really love that intensity!!!
      Wish you a happy weekend,
      Hanna

    • Hi Leya. Yes, you are probably right. I love the lark singing and the lapwing’s cry, harbingers of spring ❤
PS I send all caring thoughts to you and Sweden on this sad day.
      All the best,
      Hanna

  1. Beautiful nature pictures, Hanna. 🙂 Lapwing have come here also, but is hard to photograph before they started to breed.

    • Hi John. The Lapwing is a brilliant tumbler in the air. I was just enjoying the artist and didn’t get the chance to take pictures 🙂 Thanks a lot for your comment!
