But If You So Much As Dare To Speak…

The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day.
When the sun is out and the wind is still,
You’re one month on in the middle of May.
But if you so much as dare to speak,
a cloud come over the sunlit arch,
And wind comes off a frozen peak,
And you’re two months back in the middle of March.
Robert Frost, Two Tramps in Mud Time, 1926

No need to take the jacket, I thought on the way out the door but did it anyway.
I had never managed without 🙂

    • Querida Magnoliae.

    • Hello Montucky. Hope you will enjoy every single day in the year. You may put up new maps in your hall and plan for new outdoor adventures 🙂
Then before you know a lot of flowers will reveal themselves 🙂

Thank you for reminding me of Frost’s poem too. He had such a laconic wit.

  2. Hola Hanna! ❤

    • Thank you for your lovely inspiring comment, Jacint.
You are right with respect to the crisp clear light of spring in Denmark!! I love that light 🙂
