Welcome to Winter Solstice. It’s a time for celebration. A time for celebrate the return of light and it certainly is dark and gloomy in Denmark today. I found pictures in my archive to light up the day.

Happy Yule! Have a lovely Christmas and a happy peaceful New Year.
Glædelig Jul, Ash. Jeg håber, I får en dejlig jul, og et lykkebringende nytår.
Your pictures lightened up *my* day too, Hannah. Thank you.
Dear Heather. I hope you have lovely weather at your place ❤
… I'll do my best 🙂
Wishing you much joy at Christmas, Hanna, and a healthy and happy 2017. 🙂
May your troubles be less,
And your blessing be more.
And nothing but happiness,
Come through your door.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Jo ❤
Thank you so much,
That’s lovely 🙂
Thank you, Jo 🙂 …an Irish Blessing it is ❤
Wonderful photos for winter!!
Hi Christy. The weather is often like this in Denmark in December. The snow often comes later with a few serious exceptions 🙂
It was great to be introduced to Denmark in wintertime. I would not have known what it looks like without your lovely photos, Hanna 🙂
Thanks a lot, Christy 🙂
Fine pics 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Maravillosas imágenes para dar la bienvenida al invierno…
¡welcome solstice! Merry Christmas, Hanna.
Querida Isabel. Acojo con satisfacción que la luz está aumentando ❤
Feliz Navidad a ti también,
The donkey looks happy. I wonder what he got for Christmas.
It’s from an open air museum, Alen. I have no doubt that he is utterly completely spoiled with hay and grass seed, straw and beet pulp for Christmas. If you look carefully he smiles 🙂
I like donkeys – especially smiling donkeys.
The pictures from your archive are delightful, Hanna. I, too, am ready to celebrate the return of the light. Winters on the south shore of Lake Erie are generally grey and gloomy, although I heard a mention of a little sunshine in the week ahead.
Thanks a lot, Trail Walker.
Sunshine is a blessing on the trail. I hope Lake Erie makes an effort with cheerfully light ❤ 🙂
All the best for the new year to come,
Thank you, Hanna. We had some unexpected sunshine today, and it was delightful.
Surprises like that is always welcome 🙂 🙂
Here I am taking a break in the Norwegian mountains
