The path meanders between rose hips and broom bushes. The sun is low, and the flowers glow in the evening sun. We hear a faint engine sound from the sea and see the silhouette of three men in a boat. The weather was unbeatable for a summer holiday. We were out all the time. Except when we slept. And that was fine with me because with the night came the mosquitoes.
