It’s been a long time since I last walked along this beautiful lake shore.
It’s a thrill to be back
“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”
Henry David Thoreau, Walden

Such a beautiful walk, Hanna!
Thanks Ab!! Once I came walking on my way home from town. It’d started to snow. Quietly, the forest changed coluor and became white as in a fairy tale. Soon I could see the lake down between the trees.
Two women turned their horses away from the lake and rode up between the trees towards me. The horses’ colorful blankets stood in beautiful contrast to the snow, and the riders’ subdued conversation created an unforgettable moment for me.
You painted quite the beautiful image in my mind. I can only imagine what it looked like in person!
