  1. Wonderful landscape and special colours, Hanna. To be often I did not know the fact that Denmark has for example such a long coastline and so many lakes. Good to know.
    I love too the countryside and am curious about your common colour explosion trips.

    • Thanks a lot for that, Stefan. The coast line vary in infinity with huge sand dunes, the wadden sea, idyllic fjords, wonderful sandy beaches and smaller waters with the many islands.
      The islands coast counts in the accounts of coastline. Everything that’s beautiful is counted with 🙂

    • Despite the beautiful scenery the forest laid quietly, except for fourteen great white heron. They looked wonderful against the blue sky and the red leaves of the trees. Very impressive!

      • It is not before the Danish Golden Age, ca. 1800-1850 that Danish painters began depicting the landscape. It wasn’t unusual that the artists went to Italy and France for inspiration and instruction in painting art.
        What I love the most in the Danish countryside, is Denmark’s 8,750 kilometres of coastline. This means that you are never further away from fjord and sea than 52 kilometres.
        Furthermore, there are 120,000 lakes. The lakes provide a varied bird life and wildlife.
        Tomorrow I’ll see what’s left of the colour explosions 🙂
