There is a warning of snow in the air today. It’s cold by the lake and clouds are looming at a blue sky.
The cold was our pride, the snow was our beauty. It fell and fell, lacing day and night together in a milky haze, making everything quieter as it fell, so that winter seemed to partake of religion in a way no other season did, hushed, solemn.

Snow already!! Oh my! I’m glad you like it and are happy about it. And though I must admit it is pretty, I’d just as soon not see any, lol!
Hi Sheila. The snow is falling right now. Though I don’t expect it will last until spring 🙂
What I like about snow is that it lights up the surroundings and creates depth in the landscape.
Wish you a lovely evening!!
Yes, it sure does! But all your photos are always captivating. Enjoy the snow, Hanna!
I’ll do my best 🙂 🙂
Gosh, it comes early on your way…here we still have 20 degree C, which is very rare!
Hi Indah. It might disappear after a lovely visit 🙂 We are expecting snow tonight.
Wish you a happy summerday 🙂
I can almost feel the crisp air and cold water from the pure blues in your images, Hanna. So beautiful!
Heather, tomorrow might bring huge contrasts to the autumn leave if the snow arrives. Remember when you were a child and it started to snow? I feel like that 🙂
🙂
