A Grandeurs Weather Window

A new Danish record might be set for rain in February. But one day did its best to ruin the statistics and made the day worth remembering.

Rain hangs about the place, like a friendly ghost. if it’s not coming down in delicate droplets, then it’s in buckets; and if neither, it tends to lurk suspiciously in the atmosphere.

    • Thank you, Nana Wathore! The forest is the oldest one in Denmark and it’s a joy to walk for hours studying the nature ❤️

    • Thank you so much, Tanja!! You could easily had a great share of ours rain. February got very close to a record 😁😁

    • Ah! Do enjoy the snow. As long as you are able to stay safe that’s the most important thing. I love the day after a snowstorm. The silence and all wrapped in a white blanket. That is a joyful experience ❤️

  1. Lol, there is always one day that spoils it. 🙂 We also had a LOT of rain. Being a low lying country we have to make sure to get rid of the water. Luckely we do have some experience with that. 🙂

    • We are gaining some of the same experience, Peter 🙂 Denmark is not exactly a mountainous country, even though we have a mountain called Himmelbjerget ~ The Sky Mountain 😎😁
Luckily there are this weekend to make a joke out of the rain record 😁

    • Thanks, Mike! I think you are right!
This weekend will eventually devastate the February rain record 🙂
So I have decided to lean back and enjoy the sun. I might even stay put in my chair since the wind record is ruined too 😁😁

  2. So sorry that sunny day might ruin your record-breaking! I guess Noah will still hold the title.
And I like the quotation – – the rain here isn’t lurking suspiciously, it’s definitely forthright and makes itself known very forcibly in the form of sleet and frozen pellets.

    • We could save some rain for Portugal, Spain and a few more places.
You’re right, I think we’ll have nice sunny weather this weekend 😎❤️
