Gorgeous photos Hanna. It must be lovely at this time of year with fewer bugs!
September is a very reasonable month to go for a walk in the Norwegian Mountains, Josypheen 🙂
Luckily I’ve only read about the utterly horrible hunt, mosquitoes and mites perform on mountain walkers.
It occur especially in one of my favourite mountains in August, where one mountain lake after another adorns itself with cotton grass 🙂
Stay safe!
All the best,
Hanna
I want to put on my hiking boots, pull up my backpack, and walk straight into your photos, Hanna. The landscape looks breathtaking!
It’s a pleasure to create such feeling, Tanja. Thanks!!
I travel on many paths through books and magazines before I go on a trip.
I fell into conversation with a Norwegian at one of DNT’s lovely cabins.
We chatted away about different mountain areas and associated cabins.
Suddenly he exclaimed that it was absolutely incredible how well I knew huts and mountains in Norway and I had to confess.
Most of my great knowledge was from lovely magazines from the Norwegian Tourist Association.
We laughed a lot about that, and went together for a few days in the mountains 🙂
All the best,
Hanna
The scenes are beautiful!
Thanks a lot, Linda. I found lots of inspiration to ours walks from the Norwegian Tourist Association. They publishes member magazines and a yearbook. Ah! I have read about cabins, trails, local history and stories about weather and geology. It’s a journey in the journey 🙂
Stay safe!
All the best,
Hanna
What a fabulous hike, Hanna. Your landscape images are wonderful.
The landscape can easily be attributed to some of the credit, Jane.
It didn’t matter where you looked, one motif surpassed the other. There was an incredible variety in the landscape and in the weather 🙂
The people we met were just as lovely as the mountain landscape.
All the best,
Hanna
Wow, these pictures of Norway look amazing. I love hiking in remote areas. Is this part of Norway difficult to get to?
Thanks o lot, Peter. We were on a hike outside of the holiday season. No tourists and no mosquitoes 🙂
The mountain area is not easily accessible. For example, cabin supplies are flown into the mountains in helicopters.
Wish you happy hiking!!
All the best,
Hanna

Fantastic views, wonderful walks
Thanks a lot, Jack Jones. The walk is magnificent. We walked over small glaciers, climbed up steep mountain slopes using ropes.
We walked in places, so deserted that I cheered when I found an apple hull 🙂
It truly is a place where views are outstanding and the well-being among people is great ❤
All the best,
Hanna
Wow hanna what a lovely message, thank you so very much, i take it you all enjoyed the walk, your faithfully jack ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful!
Thanks for that, Bill.
There is a rather unique variation in nature in the western part of Norway.
Stunning waterfalls, glaciers, green valleys and nice local people everywhere. An experience for life.
All the best,
Hanna
Storslået natur. Længe leve naturen, 🙂
