It’s a long time since I have been in this dark part of the forest.
It really is an interesting experience to cycle through the darkness on a sunny day. This means that you have the forest to yourself – Well, almost 😉

Fabulous picture. What magnificent animals.
Thanks a lot, George. It was an immediate feeling of reverence and enthusiasm that struck me when I saw the deer standing in a little ray of sunshine. Awesome!
Stay safe!
All the best,
Hanna
Wow! 🤩
Thank you, Anuscka 😊
I’ve never seen that many points before–what kind of deer?
Hi Steffen. The red deer live in a very large delimited area. The forester sets up small feed depots in the winter. I just read that the animals can grow more than one point in one year if the food is plentiful.
The red deer I met, however, is a magnificent specimen 😊
All the best,
Hanna
Hanna, Thanks. We clearly don’t have red deer around the coast.
Take care,
Richard
