“A tree says: A kernel is hidden in me, a spark, a thought, I am life from eternal life. The attempt and the risk that the eternal mother took with me is unique, unique the form and veins of my skin, unique the smallest play of leaves in my branches and the smallest scar on my bark. I was made to form and reveal the eternal in my smallest special detail.” ~ Hermann Hesse
A beloved 800 year old oak tree – The Klopstock Oak
It’s too bad trees can’t talk. I bet they would have tons of stories for us. Of course, they might get annoying too. Like when you pass by each one a forest, they may all want attention. Haha. There’s no peace anywhere!
Now, imagine if they started arguing with each other’s stories: No, No, that’s not how it was. I remember it was Treebeard, who sailed men from Shetland to Orkney … And if they spoke as slowly as Tree-beard, then there would be a never ending murmur 🙂
Thanks a lot for commenting 🙂
Hahaha. You’re welcome!
Ah! the mighty oak
They are impressing indeed and magnificent at all seasons!!
