I did this walk with awe on a hard winter day in 2011. Every part of the landscape had turned itself into an adventure due to a heavy snowfall during the night.
Happy Winter Solstice

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.
~ Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
Snow at this time of the year is now very much a rarity here in central England, Still says Christmas. Greetings from this part of our World 🙂
Thanks, David. I know what you mean. The fields in Denmark are not covered with snow but water – we are in for the wettest year ever.
Lots of Christmas greetings from Denmark !!
Simply beautiful. Inspiring as always, Hanna. 😎x
Thanks a lot, Steve 😊🎄🎉🎊
It has been too long ago since there has been a real winter (meaning: with snow) 😦 Beautiful picture! Let’s hope we have some magic again in 2020. God jul!
Thank you, Anuscka. Snow really add magic to the landscape. We could do with some before spring sets in all of a sudden 🙄
Wish you a merry Christmas!
Happy Solstice, Hanna. Today we have already gained a little extra daylight. 😊
A little more daylight is really worth celebrating, isn’t it 😊
Merry Christmas to you, Tanja!
Thank you! ❤
I love the snow too. Over here in New Zealand we have just had our longest day and it is summer and nice and warm. Have a lovely Christmas.
It’s great to hear from you, Roger. Funny to think that you have just the exact opposite of our season 😊
A very merry Christmas to you to!!
