An Easter Hymn

Awake, thou wintry earth –
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!

  1. Sunny, springy, lovely pictures. Yay! We had sun last couple of days but it was cold! Today its 16 degrees and it feels like summer 🙂

    • Hi Peter. Up and down it goes 🙃 Bunch of sunny warm days … and then came the frost ❄❄❄
      Thanks for the telling!!!

  2. Beautiful. The pictures are proof that it’s getting more and more spring every day.

    • Thanks for that, Rabirius. The days are getting warmer. With some significant relapse 😁

  3. Lovely photos, Hanna. I love the little verse too. Its good to see the earth awakening from her slumbers. Spring symbolises hope and new beginnings. It’s my favourite month.

    • Thank you, Elisabeth. You express my preferences and the beautiful symbolism of spring. It’s a wonderful time of the year!!

    • You asked the right question, Resa 😊 They are on the top three on my favourite list of birds – well, I’m very happy when I see them.
They are called Grebes. When they dance you could easily imagine they were taking part in a tango 💃
