My Neighbourhood in Autumn Colours

I had a quick walk in my neighbourhood today.
The delicate smell of weathered leaves are intoxicating.

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth
seeking the successive autumns.

  1. Dear Hanna, when I look at your pictures and read your words I miss the colours and the smell of autumn. At least through your blog I have a little bit of autumn in my head. Love, Peggy

    • Dear Peggy. Autumn is a wonderful preparation for the winter. It’s like travelling by train instead of flying. We prepare ourselves for the coming of winter 🙂
      All the best,
      Hanna

    • I’m happy to hear that, David. It’s one of my favourite short walks 🙂
About the autumn colours, I can see we are a little ahead of yours

  2. In Gothenburg the other day, I talked with one of the guys working in the café where I took my morning coffee while writing on my blog. “It’s autumn now” I began. “Yes” he said, “the best time of all year, no expectations, just the wonderful feeling of the wind whipping your face and the rain running down your neck and under your shirt down your spine. Summer never lives up to expectations, but autumn always does!”
