Even rain and mist can be lovely on a Summer day.
But do you know the rain that makes you drenched on five seconds?
A single gentle rain makes the grass many shades greener.

Very beautiful landscape!
Thank you so much, Adela!!
I know the drenching of rain in seconds, and I love it. Of course, the worst that ever happened was a tree was blown down. I’ve had a blessed life so far!
Wonderful posts here today.
Hi Resa. Happy to hear that you stayed clear of that tree!! …and thanks a lot for cheering ❤ X
We do have showers like that over here for the last week. The post woman swam to her bike, a packet came afloat with a kitten sitting on top of it. This is not entirely true but it paints the experience 🙂
Peter, some fake news is worth listening to. The post woman should have been prime time news in Danish Television.
PS The kitten saved my day 🙂
Wishing you dry pavements 😀
If only the rain would fall equally on all parts.
I can only agree on that ❤
Mist can I agree with you about, but rain…. My camera don´t like water. 😀 Nice picture. 🙂 But in poems is much beautiful, and even real if wont don´t want to shot. 😀
Camera, dust and water is a bad combination. I just ruined my fourth camera 🙄
Henry David Thoreau. My favourite!
Ellington
Hi Ellington. He is one of my favourites too ❤
You can stand rain much better if you call it liquid sunshine, Hanna. Have a nice day, regards Mitza
That a lovely way to put it, Mitza. From now on I will think of rain that way. It make sense too. What’s to celebrate on a sunny day without the lushness 🙂
Wish you a lovely evening ❤
I love the way you framed the misty, wet pond with the rain- heavy branches in your photo.
Thank you, Holly. The bog is elfin land. There rests a magical ambience over the area. A wonderful place in all seasons!!
One can sense that from your photo. I appreciate being allowed to “be” there too.
Thank you, Holly!!
Beautiful work, Hanna. Makes me appreciate every drop water even more. North Norfolk is a dry corner of England and our garden is big and thirsty. Has the summer been very wet in Denmark so far?
Hugs to you from Cley,
Hanne
Thank you very much, Hanne. This month, up to now, has been 2.5 degrees colder than the average temperature for July for the last many years.
At the same time, we have periods of cloud eruption. It’s like living in India during the monsoon: grin:
If I succeed I’ll send a few showers and a hug to you 🙂 🙂
Hanna
Beautiful, Hanna. And I know about that rain…just went out with my dog for some minutes – even if neither me nor him wanted to go…Soaking wet both of us. Slowly drying up now, in two towels…
Thank you, Leya. I’m afraid that it isn’t the last time Totti get in touch with the towels considering how the summer turns out 😯
Mmm, today 25 mm and not a minute without at least a drizzle. The wind is gone for the moment though…
They always have such a weather on the Faroe Islands 🙂
Oh yes I know this rain, usually it falls when I’m biking home from the office! 😀
Flot billede, jeg kan godt lige det 🙂 (I think my Danish hasn’t improved much since I left :p)
It’s funny you mention your ride. When cycling you are completely sure to gather all the rain in clothes, shoes and backpacks 😀
Dit danske er perfekt 🙂
Tak =)
Det var så lidt 🙂
That’s a beautiful photo! I would love to have some of that rain!
Sun and rain is unequally distributed at the moment. If I could I would send some of it your way, Montucky 🙂 Thank you!
😊😊❤❤
Thank you, Mathilda ❤
