Bring me all of your dreams,
You dreamer,
Bring me all your
Heart melodies
That I may wrap them
In a blue cloud-cloth
Away from the too-rough fingers
Of the world.
Langston Hughes
Two days ago I walked along this lovely lake. The ice packed together in the strong wind, and the wind brought a fine song, like a thousand bells each with their own melody.
Perfect harmony of text and Pictures again …
I’m often filled with gratitude to nature, that is probably why poetry always wait for me at the white birches or along the lake’s shimmering waves.
Thanks a lot for your lovely compliment!!
It’s been too long since I’ve been hiking. Your post makes me want to get out and go so badly now. Great shots!
That is exactly the goal of my blogging posts. I really wish you get the opportunity to wander in an area that fills you with joy to the brim! Thanks a lot for your encouraging comments.
All the best.

Well then mission accomplished Hanna! All the best 🙂
🙂 🙂
Love the photo of the snowy tree lined path. Just wish I lived somewhere were there was a bit more snow and cold weather, rather than rain, wind and more rain
I do understand why, you get tired of rain. When the weather is rainy and foggy I stick to the small winding paths, where nature comes closer to me instead of large open spaces where visibility is nonexistent.
Hopefully the rain will stop soon and you will have some cold clear days!!!
All the best,
Hanna
Isn’t it wonderful to have such a place in which you can walk, and enjoy, and think!
Hi Montucky. I really appreciate natural areas a lot. It is a unique opportunity to calibrate the body and mind 🙂 I have always sought out natural areas no matter where I’ve found myself. Perhaps this is why I love topographic maps so much.
I also love topographic maps and National Forest maps. The walls of a hallway in my home are covered with them.
I would never get further than the hall, if I were you 🙂
Wonderful scenes, outstanding scapes and beautiful poeme.
Thank you, Hanna.
All the best.
