Påske på Frilandsmuseet i Sorgenfri

Den største attraktion på Frilandsmuseet i Sorgenfri er dyrebørn og to brædder over en grøft. Børnene elsker at lege ved grøften.

Hestevognene er også et tilløbsstykke, og set på afstand er det som at træde ind i en scene fra Alle Vi Børn i Bulderby.

Museet har åbent i dag, 2. påskedag og holder derefter lukkket frem til 1. Maj.

    • Hi Alexander. It has been such a lovely weather and it seems to continue the rest of the week.
      I think the shrub was a rhododendron. It had an absolutely wonderful scent. I walked past a few times just to enjoy it 🙂 I hope you had a pleasant Easter too.

      • I’ve been in totally different weather conditions. It looked I came back to winter. It was sunny but windy and cold, and a lot of snow around. However Easter was warm and cozy with my Family (part of it). 🙂

        As long as the sun is shining I can manage the cold but obviously there are limits.
        I hope you soon will be surrounded by blooming shrubs too 🙂

  2. Oh yes! When we stopped for tea & cake a bottle of home made wine appeared (elderberry & blackberry). Not much work done after that. Yes we had a great time!

    • Elderberry & blackberry! That sounds really nice. If there is a next time you must reveal the recipe. When you are out for a long walk that kind of exquisite drinks is very much appreciated ❤ 😉

  4. You all seem to be enjoying the spring light & having fun in the bright sun. Here too it has been a beautiful day but we spent our time helping to restore a small garden beside an old canal lock. With the plants we are planting we hope to attract lots of bumblebees & butterflies.

    • Ash, that must have been great fun too. it’s nice and constructively working with other people to create something as wonderful as attract bees and butterflies. I hope there was room for a little fun too 🙂

  5. Delightful pictures again. It looks so sunny and bright, but I guess it is a little cold as people are quite rugged up! I love the picture with the 2 horses especially! 🙂

    • The image of the carriage is like a picture taken out of a Swedish film by Astrid Lindgren: “Alla vi barn i Bullerbyn”. .
      I remember a scene where suntanned children are singing their lungs out sitting on a load of hay pulled by robust workhorses 🙂 ❤

    • Thank you Isabel. Having a stroll at the big outdoor museum in the Easter time really is a joy.
      The children are having fun and there are many little baby animals. The weather is beautiful at the moment. A little bit cold but the sun is shining the sky is blue and lovely white clouds are towering proudly above it all ❤
