Cliff Divers from Copenhagen Opera House

Russeren Artem Silchenko vandt udspringskonkurrencen fra Operahuset i København. Red Bull, arrangør af konkurrencen, oplyser at 25.000 mennesker var mødt op for at se udspringerne. …Vi var der også, det var sjovt og spændende.

Der var hyggelig stemning overalt, og selv om der var trængsel fra Nordre Toldbod og ind til Amaliehaven, var der alligevel plads til alle. Alt, hvad der kunne flyde på vandet, var til stede i havnen, farverigt, det var det 😛

Det blæste koldt oppe på taget, I kan se, hvordan arrangørerne står med trøjer på. Jeg blev lidt overrasket over, at udspringerne kun bar badebukser, og var så ubeskyttede i forhold til kulde og nedslag. Udspringerne rammer vandet med 85 – 90 km i timen…

  1. Holy crapcakes! That is incredible! I remember sitting under that edge, and it never occurred to me that someone would ever jump off! Insane species. Thanks for the post!

    • I understand you, Alen. There was not room for more butterflies in my stomach when I experimented with a backward somersault from 3 meter springboard.
      You need to know what you’re doing when you hit the surface at 90 kilometers per hour from a hight of 28 meters- Uhhhh!
