A walk enclosed in black brown grey and a bit of green colours 🙂
Bare branches of each tree
on this chilly January morn
look so cold so forlorn.
Gray skies dip ever so low
left from yesterday’s dusting of snow.
Yet in the heart of each tree
waiting for each who wait to see
new life as warm sun and breeze will blow,
like magic, unlock springs sap to flow,
buds, new leaves, then blooms will grow.
Nelda Hartmann, January Morn
How did you get the image to look as it does?
Hi Holly. It’s an effect I have on my camera 🙂
It almost looks as though you went over a soft photo with pen and ink, an interesting effect.
Thanks, Holly!!
Love the effect on that photo, Hanna. 🙂 🙂 Spotted my first snowdrops today so it’s coming…
Thank you, Jo. I did the same lovely experience today too 🙂 Snowdrop and Erantis!
Cannot help but looking in places where they are to be found.
Are you heading for Portugal again?
Wish you beautiful days ahead ❤ ❤ ❤
Yes- on Saturday. 🙂 🙂 Thanks a lot, Hanna.
Uh!!! Wish you joyful days, Jo 🙂
Beautiful photo and poem, dear Hanna. Thanks for sharing, kind regards Mitza
Hi Mitza. Entirely my pleasure 🙂
We had a tiny view of the sun today. Amazing 🙂
Best wishes!!
Hanna
I love your photo illustration, Hanna! The trees on the right almost look like they have faces … but I can’t tell whether they’re smiling. 🙂 Beautiful.
Heide, you should see them walking! They are very slow and so are their speech. Some call them Ents ❤ 🙂
Thanks 🙂
