The Hawthorn in Jægersborg Dyrehave

The Hawthorn never ceases to fascinate me.
There are many myths, superstitions and stories about the hawthorn.
I experienced an eerie story that you can read here: THE DEATH AND THE HAWTHORN

    • Thank you, Isabel. I love the scenery so much. But the weather has a lot to do with my success 🙂
Wish you a lovely evening ❤

    • Thank you so much, Leo. The plain, where the hawthorn stands is unique in its kind, and has made a very interesting crossing with a different kind of hawthorn. This hawthorn was planted on an emergency cemetery 500 hundred meters away, raised over cholera-affected people from an epidemic in Copenhagen in 1853. These thorns were suppose to keep people and animals away and prevent the infection from spreading.
      All the best,
      Hanna
