The Hawthorn never ceases to fascinate me.
There are many myths, superstitions and stories about the hawthorn.
I experienced an eerie story that you can read here: THE DEATH AND THE HAWTHORN

That last shot is so beautiful, Hanna! Hope you’re having a happy week. 🙂
Thanks Jo. It was sheer luck I was ready with my camera when the deer came running 🙂
Wish you happy days ❤

Preciosa serie, Hanna, me ha encantado. La Naturaleza en todo su esplendor.

Thank you so much, Leo. The plain, where the hawthorn stands is unique in its kind, and has made a very interesting crossing with a different kind of hawthorn. This hawthorn was planted on an emergency cemetery 500 hundred meters away, raised over cholera-affected people from an epidemic in Copenhagen in 1853. These thorns were suppose to keep people and animals away and prevent the infection from spreading.
All the best,
Hanna
Y con la historia que tienen estos maravillosos arboles, todavía me resulta más hermosa tu serie fotográfica.
Un abrazo y feliz día.
Muchas gracias, Leo. Te deseo un feliz día!!!
I remember your tale about the hawthorn. You have some interesting tales to tell, Hanna.
