I had one of my known walks when suddenly I heard a cry, it was the lapwing. The bird is a seldom guest so close to built-up areas. I succeeded to photograph the lapwing despite it’s a fast flying acrobat.

Love lapwings – the harbingers of spring
Leya, I feel the same way. The lapwing has much better conditions in Sweden than in Denmark. In Denmark the lapwing is in decline due to dry breeding seasons, harsh winters and fewer areas with permanent grass. It would be great to turn around this development!! So much more appreciable was the beautiful sight of TOFSVIPA 🙂
It is always possible to change – if your naturvårdsverk wants to!
