The flowers of spring are winter’s dreams told in the morning at the table of the angels.
~ Khalil Gibran.
The hawthorns seemed to be enjoying the sunshine, their branches swaying gently in the warm air. It was a perfect moment of nature’s beauty, captured in all its glory on this lovely day in Denmark.

Happy looking hawthorn!
Thank you so much, Jo! Happily they still are 🎁🥰
Green and refreshing..👍👍
Thank you so much! Much appreciated 😊🎁
Beautiful, Hanna. Even more than the flowers, I enjoyed the wild every-which-way limbs of the hawthorns.
Thanks a lot, Curt! The hawthorn is the mother of the forest and the origin of all fairy tales 🎁😎
I can see why!
I had never heard of Gibran until a few months ago, when a friend was picking out a bit of his text for use at an event. I wasn’t expecting to be impressed, but really was. Beautifully captured sentiments……. Almost as nice as your hawthorn blossom. Nice..
Thank you for your lovely comment, Pete!! Years ago, I came across Gibran’s quotes, and recently had the pleasure of discovering him again. It is enriching reading. I’m glad you had the nice experience too!!
Great post and wonderful images!
