An ancient snowy path

  1. When I first saw you pic, I thought that is my shot. It isn’t, just similar. Mine was taken some 6 years ago on this side of the North Sea in middle England. Since then we have not had a year of real snow, then on the occasional winters day when we have had snow, we haven’t had the sunshine to grace the days after. Snow is no longer a regular visitor for us…. if it arrives it varnishes as quick as its arrival. Now rain…. that is a different matter , we always seem to have some to spare 🙂 .

    • Haha! Yes, rain has taken on a whole new meaning. I wish we could divert the massive rainfall to France, Spain and Portugal. Their water reservoirs need a refill.
Sometimes when I see your forest photos, I think they are mine. But no! Maybe we just like the same kind of trees 😊
On Saturday, 12 degrees are forecast, and in a few weeks snow.
Snow is welcome in normal doses 😅😊

      • Small doses, blue sky and sunshine, . We were 12c yesterday and predicted 12 today. Then another cold spell and back to 12c at the weekend. Roller Coaster weather 🙂

    • Thanks, Ashley!! Sometimes I wonder what our summer will be like. How hot it will be. But then I quickly think of something else. Heat waves are frightening.
But today the weather was excellent!! Sunny with a bit of cloud cover and a temperature of 4 degrees. A temperature of 12 degrees is forecast for Saturday.
      Hope you are doing fine!!

      • We have 8 degrees today, very nice & the sun is shining. Possible 10/11 degrees at the weekend but cloudy with some rain. We’re obsessed byt the weather because here it has always been so changeable.

      • We have a cross to bear here in Denmark! In other words, a weather cross 🤣😃
“The Danish weather varies a lot because Denmark lies in the westerly wind belt, which is characterized by fronts and low pressure and changeable weather. At the same time, we live on the edge of the European continent, where there are cold winters and hot summers.” So, we are obsessed too. Which you might have guessed.
You are probably in the westerly wind belt as well
Anyway, I hope you’ve been enjoying the good weather ⛅😎😊

      • NI lies between 54 & 55.5 degrees N & yes, we get all those westerlies which usually carry a lot of rain off the Atlantic. Glade dage 🙋‍♂️
